"Treasure Tandems" is the fourth episode of season 1 of Angelina Ballerina.
Summary[]
Angelina and Alice take part in a treasure hunt tandem race, avoiding the Pinkpaw twins' cheating attempts. As Angelina and Alice rescue the twins, Henry and William win the race.
Synopsis[]
Today is the day of the treasure hunt tandem race, and all the mouselings have been given a rhyming clue to start so they have to find the answer and cross the finish line to win the tandem. Angelina was hoping that she and Alice could win, but the Pinkpaws were going to win as well as they begin to race. Henry tries to push the pedals with William, but they were too far away.
While trying to solve a riddle with an umbrella, Penelope's bow flies off her head and covers Angelina's eyes, causing her and Alice to crash into a bush.
The Pinkpaws stop at a tree to read the rules until Angelina and Alice approach. This gave Priscilla the idea to throw her clue in the tree. After the mouselings reach the tree to solve the clue, Angelina spots it and climbs a tree to get it.
Angelina managed to get the clue and read, "To sail a boat or have a splash to my far left bank, you must pedal and dash," and the answer had to be the nearest pond.
Just as the Pinkpaws were about to rest, Angelina tries to read their clue before it ends up in a tree again. It said, "When you reach this stone, you would have traveled one mile. You'll find the next clue on the old wooden style," and the answer was the Chipping Cheddar milestone.
Later, the Pinkpaws follow Angelina and Alice, but they initially avoid them as they get covered in mud. They manage to find the milestone and they find out that the Duke of Mouseborough was brave and wise on the Mouseborough Monument. The mouselings try to get to the finish line, but they get a flat tyre on the way.
The Pinkpaws try to chase Angelina and Alice, but karma gets to the twins, who then become a runaway and end up splashing into a pond, needing help and feeling guilty for what they did. The mouselings manage to save them with a part from Angelina's bike and no one was hurt at all.
The mouselings manage to finish the race, but they discover that William and Henry won the tandem in the end. William suddenly gets the idea to put sticks on Henry's feet so he could reach the pedals on their tandem, causing Angelina, Alice, and the Pinkpaws to laugh as the episode ends.
