"The Gift" is an episode of Angelina Ballerina. It is also the show's first Christmas episode.
Summary[]
On Christmas Eve, Angelina receives a hand-painted gift from Miss Lilly. However, Angelina is unhappy that the gift she made for Miss Lilly is "not good enough", but Miss Lilly is absolutely flattered by Angelina's hand-painted Christmas gift.
Synopsis[]
It is Christmas Eve in Chipping Cheddars and everyone was getting ready for tomorrow's Christmas party. Angelina has spent all week making her Christmas present for Miss Lilly, but the Pinkpaw twins has bought her a very expensive necklace with a real jewel on it, and this makes Angelina really upset.
When a tearful Angelina comes back home, her mother comforts her that she put her picture in a homemade frame, but she did not believe her, so she decides to buy her a gift.
Later, Angelina, Alice, and William discover an expensive hat that is made of silk and jewelry and costs $64.99. Angelina did not have enough money to buy it, so she tries to earn money by wrapping presents, but she forgets to put the labels on them.
Angelina finds a nice way to earn money for the hat by dancing and it successfully works. Back at the store, the mouselings find out that the hat was sold minutes ago.
Since Angelina could not find a perfect present for Miss Lilly, she cries under her bed until Matilda gets her ready for the party by wrapping the homemade present.
During the party, Miss Lilly opens all of her presents, except for one. Angelina started worrying about her homemade present, but she gives it to Miss Lilly anyway. She opens it and loves it a whole lot so she decided to put it in a safe place. While having a feast, the mouselings find out that Mrs. Hodgepodge was the one who bought the expensive hat.
At home during bedtime, Angelina opens a snow globe that Miss Lilly wanted, wishing that she could get one.

- It is revealed that Miss Lilly was given the snow globe by her very first ballet teacher.
- It is unknown how Mrs. Hodgepodge bought the expensive hat minutes ago after Angelina, Alice, and William left the store. It may be likely that she needed a better appearance.
Goofs[]
- When Angelina discovers that the hat costs $64.99, her left whisker disappears and reappears.
- When Alice takes a bite out of her snack, the collar on her jacket flashes green for a frame.
