The Ballet Tickets is an episode of Angelina Ballerina.
Summary[]
Alice and Angelina miss their chance to get tickets to the ballet dance and their efforts to find a way all fail. But Angelina's father has a big surprise for both of them.
Synopsis[]
Angelina leaves the house in a rush with Alice because they were going to get the tickets for the ballet dance. Unfortunately, the tickets get sold out after the Pinkpaws buy the last two.
To get the tickets, Angelina and the Pinkpaws have a competition to see who can dance the best with the music box playing. The Pinkpaws dance better than Angelina (mainly because Angelina's necklace broke and made her slip) so there was no way to get the tickets.
Still wanting to see the show, Angelina and Alice try to sneak into the theatre by going in, pretending to be Miss Lilly seeing a show with Mimi and Mikel Whiskersev, and climbing through the window, but they all fail.
At home, a crying Angelina comes downstairs to have supper and hugs her mother. Later, when Maurice got home, Angelina finds out that he bought three tickets for the ballet she and Alice were hoping to go to. She gets worried that she wouldn't be able to do her job because of her torn cloak, but her mother saves the day by fixing it.
Back at the theatre, the Pinkpaws fight during the show while Angelina and Alice watch it with Miss Lilly. After the show, Maurice takes Angelina and Alice to interview Miss Lilly and the actor in the show for the Mouseland Gazette as he kisses Angelina's paw.
After interviewing him very nicely, Angelina felt so happy that she didn't want to wash her paw ever. She even wished to be a great ballerina when she grows up and a great reporter as well.
