She might have been inspired by the late Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco and Princess Diana of the United Kingdom, also Queen Serphina wears the same trademark sky-blue gown. Queen Seraphina's husband, King Ferdinand, is often referred to in the original book series. She speaks with a Victorian accent.
